Warranty & Refresh

Hemp changes with use. It softens, breaks in, and shows honest wear. We stand behind our materials and craftsmanship — and we also support how your rope lives with you over time.

Lifetime Guarantee

EcoLSD™ Flow Ropes are backed by a Lifetime Guarantee covering defects in craftsmanship and construction. If your rope fails due to a build or finishing issue, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost to you.

Rule of thumb:
If it failed because it was made wrong, it’s covered here.
If it’s worn because it was well-loved and used hard over time, it’s supported through our Care & Refresh Program below.

Covered (craftsmanship / construction)

  • End finishing failures that happen prematurely

  • Cord wrap / whipping loosening early due to workmanship

  • Unraveling or separation caused by a build issue

  • Defective material at time of sale (rare, but covered)

Not covered (normal wear / misuse)

Normal wear from practice and environmental exposure, including: thinning, abrasion, cuts, water damage/mildew, chemical exposure, heat damage, pet damage, or misuse.

Examples of misuse include (but aren’t limited to): dragging on rough surfaces, weighted/towing use, use in fire displays, or modifying the rope (untying finished end knots, altering/untying whipping at handles, finished end, or abrasion guard, or changing length).

If you need a different length or setup, reach out — we’ll help you choose the right option.

Lifetime Care & Refresh Program

For heavily used ropes, we offer a low-cost Care & Refresh Program — deep cleaning, re-waxing, freshening, re-finishing, and optional 2.2mm cord rewrap — so you can keep your rope in great working condition without having to do the messy parts yourself.

This program is designed for:

  • Ropes wearing thin in a consistent contact zone

  • Deep cleaning when the rope feels loaded with grit or grime

  • Re-waxing / re-buffing (helps prevent moisture and grime buildup)

  • Replacement of worn abrasion guards and/or handle wraps

  • Refreshing ends, resealing, or re-finishing

Safety first

We reserve the right to recommend replacement if a rope is worn beyond safe repair. If replacement is the safest option, we’ll offer a discounted replacement path.

Service Tiers

1) Refresh (Light)

  • Clean + brush + re-wax + re-buff

  • Minor end touch-ups if needed
Best for: dull/dry feel, loss of glide, surface fuzz, “just want it fresh.”

2) End Service (Rewrap + Refinish)

  • Replace/upgrade the 2.2mm cord wrap

  • Refinish + reseal ends as needed
Best for: worn wraps, fraying at ends, or wanting a renewed feel.

3) Repair / Stabilize (Wear Zones)

  • Assessment + targeted stabilization when appropriate

  • Optional protective guard in high-wear zones (if feasible)
Best for: localized thinning from repeated contact.

4) Replacement (When It’s Beyond Repair)

If unsafe to repair, we’ll recommend replacement and provide a discounted option.

How it works

  1. Email us before shipping with a couple photos (full rope + close-up of wear zone/ends).

  2. Ship the rope to us (customer covers shipping).

  3. We inspect and confirm the recommended service + price with you before we begin.

  4. We complete the work and ship it back.

Pricing notes

  • Workmanship repairs/replacements are handled at no cost when covered under the Lifetime Guarantee.

  • Care & Refresh services are offered at a low service cost, plus shipping. In most cases, the “low service cost” is equal to the materials cost. No extra fees or labor charges.

  • If a rope requires something unusual to get it back in top-shape, additional fees may need to be added. (we’ll confirm with you first).

What to avoid (to extend rope life)

  • Dragging on concrete/asphalt/rough rock

  • Leaving the rope wet in a bag (mildew risk)

  • Prolonged heat exposure (for example: near heaters)

  • Harsh detergents or chemical cleaners
