If something is wrong with it, we’ll make it right.
If it’s not the right fit, you can return eligible standard length tools within 30 days.
If it wears down through long-term use, we’ll help you keep it going.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If your EcoLSD tool is not the right fit, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund, minus shipping.

Returned items must be clean, undamaged, and in like-new condition.

Eligible standard tools include standard flow ropes and standard flow mace builds. Custom-length tools are made specifically for you and are not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a materials or workmanship issue.

Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

Every EcoLSD rope and flow mace is backed by a Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.

If your tool fails because of a materials, craftsmanship, construction, or finishing issue under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost.

If the issue is covered under the Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee, EcoLSD covers the repair or replacement and return shipping.

Rule of thumb:

If it failed because it was made wrong, it’s covered.
If it wore down because it was used hard over time, it’s supported through Lifetime Care & Refresh.

Covered Under the Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

Covered issues may include:

  • Premature end-finishing failure

  • Cord wrap, whipping, or handle finishing loosening early due to workmanship

  • Unraveling or separation caused by a build issue

  • Defective material at the time of sale

  • Premature flow mace knot, wrap, or handle finishing failure due to workmanship

Not Covered as a Defect

Normal wear, misuse, environmental damage, and unintended use are not considered workmanship defects.

Examples include:

  • Thinning or abrasion from repeated ground contact

  • Cuts, burns, mildew, or water damage

  • Pet damage

  • Chemical exposure or harsh detergents

  • Heat damage

  • Dragging on concrete, asphalt, rough rock, or other abrasive surfaces

  • Load-bearing, towing, climbing, or weighted use outside of intended movement practice

  • Use in fire displays

  • Altering structural knots, wraps, end finishing, or product construction unless the product page identifies that part as user-adjustable

These situations may still be eligible for Lifetime Care & Refresh or materials-only replacement support.

Lifetime Care & Refresh

Hemp is a living fiber. It responds to movement, touch, friction, sweat, weather, storage, and time.

When your tool needs deeper attention, you can send it in for Lifetime Care & Refresh. These services are offered at materials-only pricing, plus shipping.

Materials-only pricing means you pay for the materials needed to complete the work, not extra labor fees. We’ll confirm the recommended service and cost before beginning.

Care & Refresh may include:

  • Cleaning and brushing

  • Re-waxing and buffing

  • End touch-ups

  • Rewrapping or replacing worn whipping

  • Refreshing abrasion guards or handle wraps

  • Stabilizing localized wear zones when appropriate

  • General reconditioning to restore feel and function

This program is for normal wear, not defects. It exists to keep your tool in practice instead of replacing it before you need to.

Completely Worn Out? Still Supported.

If your tool is showing serious wear from consistent practice, send photos before shipping it in.

If it can be safely repaired, we’ll repair it at materials-only pricing.

If it is too worn to repair safely, we’ll offer a replacement at materials-only pricing.

Customer covers shipping for Care & Refresh, normal-wear repairs, and materials-only replacement support unless the issue is covered by the Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.

How to Start a Return, Repair, or Refresh

Email jarrod@ecolsd.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A few photos of the full tool

  • Close-up photos of the area needing attention

  • A short note about what happened or what you’d like refreshed

Shipping Summary

For 30-day returns or exchanges, customers cover shipping and original shipping is not refundable.

For Care & Refresh, normal-wear repairs, and materials-only replacement support, customers cover shipping both ways.

For covered materials, craftsmanship, construction, or finishing defects, EcoLSD covers the repair or replacement and return shipping.
